Going home.
Long winding marble halls
light at the end of the tunnel
flowers all along
Serpent power
Like crows flying
a flock
across a gray sky
Hollow like a cave
deep resistance in the moonlight
Hollow
the wind rushing through
it
like a flute
empty mountains
The tips brightening in the
light of the rising sun
a pale yellow covering
broken cliffs
The sound of hollow
aggravated moment
stands still in time
Thunderous flutes
bombastic like church organs
echoing and thundering
recking the peace
Swallows fly high
like butterflies tumbling on the wind
The hollow emptiness of my wounds
loudly reverberate
through the echoes of time
Aggravation tumultuous
movement
gliding forward on the path
slowly but surely
a straight line ahead
focused goal on the gold pot
The bricks lay still awaiting
my return
A pile on the mountain top
moving in time
adjusting to now
In a circle
breaking in and out
the flowers crouch to receive me
Trees strong against the wind
Never moving but to open
the gate
One person may pass, no others
already declared
A perfect reunion
of past and present
Guarded through time
a perfect palace
surrounded by peace
Our return.
Surrender flies the sky
opening the heavens to more
Tumbling down upon broken land
possibilities of our return
Galaxies far away
break open
twist and turn
shifting in place
more light into the universe
Parading palaces empty
turning around towards the sun
New legions of light move
in to the temples
fill the air with song
Explosive presence of return
Mother
breathes easy
Thirteen owls in a tree.
Summer comes slowly
green grass peeking
The sun comes sideways
over the land
the fields
the forest
Thirteen owls in a tree
clearly seeing me through the leaves
a tree already green with promise
in my dreams
Stunning effervescent sublimity
everlasting in my soul
It all watches over me anyway
Corrupt the systems
of a new dawn of tomorrow
Only truth recognizes itself
through the eons
A calm
like an arm reaching
forever
after me
wherever I went
I went dark, I went high
I went low
I went in, I went out
and up and away
It reached me wherever I went
I went circus
I went player, poet and fiction
I went nuts and insane
I went traveling to seek it
and It found I
At peace now ever rumbling
ever moving ever
storming and art - ing
The wind pulls me in
the house
storm winds in all others
perfect peace in me

Bill's friends.
A flock of Ancients.
Heaving and laying still
the bamboo branches leaning
in between the pine
Relaxed
as if not to break up the calm
whispering of tomorrows affluence
Painting greeting cards
in my mind of days to come
emerald green horizons
A flock of wild, limitless beings
congregate in the grove
like egrets on the shores of the river
Ancient eyes looking all around
as if this planet old as their home
was a newfound place
Beautiful and strong like angels wings
they hover then disperse
as the guardians of the land swoop in
A wound in the sacredness torn open
revealing the blood of the old wars
Light and shadow now merging as one
dancing like sun rays on a field of wheat
hiding and dipping and surfacing again
A tear in time
shows the ancients the good hearts
of the new ones
yet flighty in the depth of the old
Like rock
they finger their way through time
Like air on moss
they shaped this land
into solid beauty
an everlasting fingerprint of God

Hold me down.
At night I fly
My spirit soar
I lift off like a comet blazing
each night higher and higher
My passion flies and cracks
universes
If just someone could hold me down
The rampant blood force busts
and I must move again
always lifting off
If it was understood that I must be
channeled forcefully
lead and funneled into creativity
for the world
for use for building
Instead I fly
and fly and fly
No one can hold me down
and direct this force into the world
I move I shift I glimmer
Seeking always a place a rock
something to hold me
something to hold on to
something that can catch me
long enough
to plant me
and make me useful
like the moon at night
Fire swirling twirling
I roll across the night sky
I tremble tremors beyond fathoming
I shake the sky the stars drop
into the oceans
Universe pulsate and break
into the next and the next
The blood force runs rampant through
my brain
spreading more power and light
to places unknown
The crackling of the skies
frightens the people

Never to be housed.
A cry
a long echoing solitude
over desert plains
A call
like a coyote howling
creeping across the fields
towards me and through
me
and from within me
A resonance deep
as if a memory of tomorrow
as if called long ago
in the beginning of time
*
Remembrance stirring
still resisting
will forever
Stepping aside
from the catch trying
Fingers long
grasping
in the in betweens
hoping to touch me
reach me
touch upon my very soul
I dance away
as always
unreachable
Wild in essence
never to be housed
never to be blamed
never to be held
never to be touched
never to be known
never to be loved
like humans
My stillness howling
void
howling into nothing
like the wolf I am

Yellow leaves.

Like glass the evening air
deer peeking out from the forest's edge
rosemary bushes quietly whisper
contentedly
their little blue flowers like brilliant stars
all is well in my world
Purple clouds pointing at a pink sunset
the ethers mirroring itself on itself
dusk rapidly shifting hues
grass bending low to the ground
shy of the evening spirits
Yellow the leaves on twisted branches
galactic winds sweeping clear
the land of all debris
time to lay down
my weary soul
